Responsibilities:

  • Completion of daily bank reconciliations and active resolution of reconciling items
  • Completion of daily unit reconciliations and active resolution of reconciling items
  • Rebalancing processing
  • Income distributions
  • Timeous and effective fee and accrual instructions to Finance to move assets
  • Able to investigate, explain, and resolve pricing queries
  • Accurate and Timeous Reporting on prices and confirmations to various clients
  • Dealing with and resolving recon items and cash flow queries
  • Daily Cashflows Instructions and banking payments
  • Hands-on approach to ensure the successful transition of Retail/Legacy and Institutional clients
  • Running databases timeously and assisting with the pricing of other databases where needed
  • Ensuring that all cashflows, fees, and accruals are processed within the respective timelines
  • Escalate anything outside of normal BAU immediately to the manager
  • Processing and escalating instructions into the Interlink system timeously
  • Timeous logging of ORRs for unexplainable differences and escalating where required
  • Ensuring all unreconciled differences have detailed explanations and clearance plans with timelines
  • Prepare and resolve Manco/AVL recon (ensuring that Interlink balances back to Manco and TAU inclusive of any/all accruals)
  • New fund set-ups to be done timeously including the set-up of PSPs
  • Automation of cashflows to Finswitch
  • Completing monthly reporting accurately and timeously
  • Assisting Finops with ad-hoc duties
  • Investigation and testing of system-related issues
  • LISP experience an advantage

Minimum Requirements:

  • B. Com Finance Degree/Accounting
  • Experience in the LISP (Linked Investment Service Provider) industry / Collective Investments would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Interlink and advantage
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel knowledge
