PSL transfer news: Appollis, Maela, Adams, Basadien, Kimvuidi

The PSL January transfer window has been slow amid several big-money move links.

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates haven’t shied away from approaching top talent like Oswin Appollis, who has substantial offers from both clubs.

• Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly willing to beat Orlando Pirates’ offer – which could include Innocent Maela or Paseko Mako plus cash – for Polokwane winger Oswin Appollis. The Bafana star is likely to move this summer.
• Stellenbosch star Jayden Adams is attracting serious interest from Pirates who, like the Appollis negotiations, are offering a player (Goodman Mosele) plus cash for the 23-year-old.
• Kaizer Chiefs, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are hoping to tempt PSL star Fawaaz Basadien to make a move; however, whether he wants to leave Stellenbosch remains unclear.
• Out of favour at Pirates, Karim Kimvuidi is being monitored by Al-Hilal, Simba and Pyramids FC.

They have come up with that strategy as they want to strengthen their left-back position in the quest to conquer both locally and in Africa, and that is why they want to move in for Basadien. So, that’s what is believed to be their plan for now to attract Basadien to Pirates.”
