Eligibility Criteria

- Complete job cards promptly and ensure all necessary details are accurately recorded
- Prioritize safety by making equipment safe before performing any work; always ensure all safety gear is in proper working condition.
2. Educational Requirements
- Hold a Grade 12 certificate
- Achieve at least an N3 qualification; aim for N4 to N6 to enhance your profile
- Include the following N3 subjects:
- Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Industrial Electronics
- Electrical Trade Theory / Electrical Technology / Electrotechnology
- Fitting and Machining / Mechanical Technology / Mechanotechnology
- Provide proof of completing a formal institutionalized training program
3. Other Requirements
- Understand and follow all applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental legislation and standards
- Sharpen your troubleshooting and repair skills for maintaining equipment components in your area of responsibility
- Obtain a valid EB / Code 8 driver’s license
- Demonstrate computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
- Be flexible and willing to work shifts, take on standby duties, respond to callouts, and work overtime as needed
- Be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
