2. Educational Requirements

• Hold a Grade 12 certificate
• Achieve at least an N3 qualification; aim for N4 to N6 to enhance your profile
• Include the following N3 subjects:
  • Mathematics
  • Engineering Science
  • Industrial Electronics
  • Electrical Trade Theory / Electrical Technology / Electrotechnology
  • Fitting and Machining / Mechanical Technology / Mechanotechnology
• Provide proof of completing a formal institutionalized training program

3. Other Requirements

• Understand and follow all applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental legislation and standards
• Sharpen your troubleshooting and repair skills for maintaining equipment components in your area of responsibility
• Obtain a valid EB / Code 8 driver’s license
• Demonstrate computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite
• Be flexible and willing to work shifts, take on standby duties, respond to callouts, and work overtime as needed
• Be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
