Now, according to the Good Things Guy website, another one is making waves, and this time, it’s putting Curro Durbanville in the spotlight.
Pure internet magic
Two days ago, parent Tania Page posted a video of the school’s war cry to her Instagram account.
What happened next was pure internet magic as the video went viral, racking up over 35 million views and millions of likes across social media platforms.
“I never expected this to go viral,” says Page.
“As a mom, my first thought was about how powerful social media can be, especially for children. It’s a reminder of how one moment can connect millions across the world.”
The video, bursting with high-energy school spirit, quickly gained traction.
Then came the ultimate endorsement s Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner shared it on her Instagram story, catapulting it to an even wider audience.
Suddenly, what started as a moment of school pride turned into a global sensation.
“I’m so happy to have played a part in showcasing Curro on a global scale. They do incredible work in education, and it’s amazing to see a school from Cape Town, South Africa, getting this kind of international attention,” Page adds.
