Job Description
AFGRI Retail is looking for a Sales Clerk to be responsible for ensuring effective sales performance and efficient stock control in Senekal, Free State.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants will be required to meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this role:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- At least 1 year of experience in a direct sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
The role of the Sales Clerk involves the following duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled:
- Provide excellent customer service to walk-in clients at the branch.
- Promote additional products to customers to boost sales.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers or procurement to restock as needed.
- Verify stock upon receipt to ensure accurate quantities and pricing.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Comprehensive understanding of AFGRI Retail’s product range.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Familiarity with company policies and procedures.
