The Claims Administrative Clerk is responsible for the registration of new claims. This position entails ensuring accurate registration of claims within the agreed service level agreement and general administrative duties as required.
What will make you successful in this role?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Register claims within agreed service level agreements.
• Ensure accuracy of data captured.
• Ensure that claims are registered against the correct policy section based on the information provided.
• Liaise with brokers and management.
• Correction of errors/data that are identified on system.
• Able to manage queries and liaise with brokers, administrators, underwriting and other relevant parties.
• To provide excellent professional service to all relevant parties, both internal and external
Qualification and Experience
• Grade 12
• Basic entry level understanding of Short-Term Insurance and Policy Wording
• Computer Literate MS Office package
• 2 to 3 years Services environment experience in Short-term Insurance will be a plus.
• Strong client service orientation
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Accurate and fast typing abilities
