Job Purpose

Selected Candidates will be responsible for assisting the Train Driver in the safe and efficient driving of all different types o trains or locomotives to ensure that the passengers reaches their destination in good condition.

• Responsible for determining which locomotive to be prepared on time
• Checking and supplementing prescribed equipment

• Sign in on duty when required
• Obtain radios and other tools to utilise
• Ensure that the telephone communication system is working effectively

• Minimum Required and Qualifications
• Matric certificate
• Pure mathematics or science
• Be ready to undergo medical check to ensure that you are fit
• Minimum of 1.6m tall
• Clear criminal record
• South African citizen
• Be willing to work effectively
