Purpose of the job
Execute, maintain the strategy to manage suppliers, ensure the delivery of network services in line with agreed service levels for SITA key clients and ensures maximum value is received for the money that an organization pays to its suppliers.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Provide inputs in the solution architecture development and execution.
  • Participate in the development of strategies for managing Wide Area Network suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Monitor supplier performance on operation, maintenance and governance across the provisioning of the Wide
    Area Network to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
  • Manage supplier relationships in line with contracted Service Level Agreements for cost reduction and increased performance
  • Ensure that service providers participate on SITA’s disaster recovery and business continuity
  • Ensure compliance to governance structures to avoid audit findings and irregular expenditure
  • Ensure effective management of resources (i.e., budget/finances, asset) within the Unit.

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualification: Minimum National Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science /Information
Technology/Engineering or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6. Certificate in ITIL.

Experience: 3 -5 years in the provision of ICT services / solutions, business support/operations as well as in the provisioning of large systems within the corporate which should include the following: 2 – 3 years ICT Service Delivery experience with a sound understanding of the underpinning technologies. IT/Service Delivery exposure on ITSM (Service Management) practices and principles 2 – 3 years IT contracts and vendor management experience.

Technical Competencies Description

Knowledge of: IT Models and Frameworks; Vendor Management, Project Management skills, Contract
Management; ICT Business Environment and Landscape Governance; Risk Management; Knowledge and

Purpose of the job
The role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of accounting related transactions to be presented in the financial statements that are GRAP compliant. This involves activities such as reconciliations to ensure that transactions are recorded and processed accurately and timely around the following functions (but not limited to) Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Debt Management, Revenue, Receiving (GRV), Asset Management, external reporting, audit management and PFMA compliance. Additionally, the role would evaluate policies and procedures, key environmental controls from a GRAP compliance perspective and to drive its implementation.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • Drafting business processes (SOP) relating to the different functions as stated in the purpose of the job
  • Review the internal controls within finance, reporting and addressing weaknesses that are identified to ensure alignment with policy and statutory legislation. .
  • General Finance and audit administration
  • Preparing financial statements year-end lead schedules including related reconciliations
  • Applying retrospective application to transactions relating to prior period errors

Qualifications and Experience

Required Qualification: minimum 3-year National Diploma/bachelor’s degree in accounting (NQF 6/7). A
postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) (CTA) will be an advantage.

Experience: Completion of the 3-year SAICA articles. Experience in GRAP or IFRS. Post articles experience would be an advantage.

Technical Competencies Description

Purpose of the job
Design, planning, acquisition and implementation of all related Server Infrastructure Services. Support and
maintenance of all Server related Infrastructure including hardware and software. Manage the provisioning of all Server related Infrastructure Services, planning, coordinating, monitoring and controlling to ensure the availability the services according to the Service Level Agreements. Ensure the resolution of hardware and software; incidents and service requests according to contracted Agreements Support and maintenance of all Server related Infrastructure according to prescribed policies, procedures, standards and governance frameworks.

Key Responsibility Area

  • Investigate/confirm/refer/log a call to upgrade the server.
  • Rectify the faults affecting the availability of the server.
  • Installation of servers
  • Implement procedures and standards for Directory Integrated Systems, Servers and related services and monitor adherence thereof.
  • Resolution and handling of medium operational Incidents as per SLA incident handling timeframes.
