Job Summary 

Spar is currently looking for self motivated and high energetic individuals to appoint as blockman. Duties and responsibilities will be listed above.

Job Duties and Responsibilities 

• Responsible for implementing daily production plans
• Responsible for controlling incoming and outgoing stock
• POS and Pricing
• Perform hygiene control and house keeping duties
• Attending customers queries
• Adhere to safety and health protocols of the organisation

Minimum Requirements and Experience

• Grade 10 school leavers report or anything equivalent to NQF level 3
• Meat cutting certificate will be advantageous
• Clear criminal record
• South African citizen
• No age restriction
• Super-market experience will be advantageous

Skills and knowledge

• Cutting skills of all species
• De-boning
• Meat processing great communication skills
• Product related knowledge
• Production planning
