What You’ll Do as a Sales Assistant
As a Sales Assistant at SPORTSCENE, your job is to help customers, boost sales, and make sure the store looks amazing. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Welcome Customers – Greet shoppers, start conversations, and help them find the perfect products Promote Deals & New Arrivals – Inform customers about discounts and new stock Process Sales – Assist with cash and card transactions at the till Stock Management – Keep shelves and displays neat and fully stocked Build Customer Relationships – Offer fashion advice and ensure a great shopping experience Store Operations – Assist with stock-taking, orders, and general store upkeep

Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this role, you must meet the following basic requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) certificate Experience in sales, customer service, or retail (preferred but not required) Fluent in English Live within 15km of the store Clear criminal record Own a smartphone with at least 10GB of storage Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
Bonus Points If You Have: Previous sales experience (at least 6 months) Basic computer skills (MS Office) Strong communication & customer service skills Interest in streetwear, sneakers, and fashion
