Job Description The Electrical Technician will play a key role in providing hands-on maintenance support to all operations, conducting problem-solving activities, and ensuring the smooth functioning of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be self-managed, reliable, punctual, and possess a diverse skill set, including minor building maintenance tasks and a strong understanding of PLC, automation processes & preventative maintenance systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Test electrical systems and components to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address electrical-related issues and support ongoing operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Feed Back on breakdowns
  • Overtime support when needed
  • Control of stock and critical spares
  • Adhere to all safe working procedures
  • Housekeeping 5 S
  • Perform inspection of various H&S required registers

Qualifications and Experience

• +5 Years Technical or maintenance experience with a strong knowledge of conveyors and motors.
  • Red seal trade test certificate
  • PLC knowledge and programing
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certification in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Valid driver license
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical problems and performing repairs.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Our Debt Collection Department requires people with a real passion for retail and commitment to a high level of customer service, to work as a Debt Collector.

Key Responsibilities

• Advises customer of total due amount (arrears + instalment due).
  • Asks for immediate payment/confirm PTP.
  • Confirms when next payment will be.
  • Confirms salary date and ensure correlations between salary date, PTP date and date last paid.
  • Advises customer of the relevant consequences of non-payment or benefits of making payment.
  • Negotiate for total due/Multiple PTPs.
  • Offers the option to pay via credit card and explain benefits of paying via credit card.
  • Offer a debit order and explain benefits of a debit order payment.
  • All info updated correctly and correct action codes used.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric or equivalent qualification
