Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean toilets, equipment, offices, and state assets thoroughly.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness of reception areas and offices daily.
• Empty office dustbins daily and dispose of refuse appropriately.
• Collect paper waste for recycling in designated bins.
• Check and clean bathrooms twice daily.
• Dust office furniture regularly.
• Vacuum carpets at least twice weekly.
• Clean internal windows quarterly on a rotational basis.
• Store cleaning equipment and products neatly in designated areas.
• Assist with boardroom meeting preparations.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements, company policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain high morale and motivation through effective communication.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene practices and facility layouts.
• Familiarity with cleaning products, equipment, and their applications.
• Basic literacy and understanding of departmental policies.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays.
• Preference for candidates from the local area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 11 with proven cleaning experience.
• Grade 12 Certificate is advantageous.
