‘Valentine is 7 weeks away’: Social media reacts to Oscar Pistorius’ new girlfriend

Oscar Pistorius has found love once again, and not surprisingly, he is dating another blonde.

The former Paralympian champion was released from prison on parole in January, more than a decade after he shot his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. Since his release, the 38-year-old has only been spotted once in April while running errands in Pretoria.

Recent reports indicate that Oscar Pistorius is now dating a new woman named Rita Greyling, who resembles his late girlfriend, Steenkamp. Many social media users expressed their surprise at how much Greyling looks like Steenkamp, whom Pistorius murdered on February 14, 2013.

Reeva Steenkamp’s sister Simone Cowburn was shocked at the similarities between her sibling and Oscar’s new bae.

“This new woman knows a judge found him guilty of murder which means she must know that he has been found capable of doing that to a woman but she sleeps with him?

“I have nothing against her but will warn her to sleep with one eye open. He has inside him the potential to do again what he did to Reeva and I don’t want that ever repeated,” she was quoted in Daily Mail UK.

Cowburn said Oscar Pistorius might have served time but he might lose it once more.

“I know as part of his parole he has to go to anger management classes and gender-based violence classes but as far as I am concerned it is always somewhere there inside him.

“I am just so shocked he has chosen a woman that looks so like my Reeva. I can’t help thinking that having got rid of one Reeva he has gone out and got another” she said.

Since his release, Oscar Pistorius has been under the radar. He currently serves the remainder of his murder sentence under strict restrictions, which will remain in effect until 2029.
