Brief Role Description
As part of the Pilot Hall Vehicle Electronics team, the incumbent will be responsible to is to timeously evaluate, scope, plan and manage the implementation of special projects, processes and engineering changes points impacting the vehicle electronics
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Plan and coordinate task/deliverables with timing of vehicle electrics/electronics product, engineering and process changes using software application such MS Office to ensure change points are timeously implemented.
- Evaluate and coordinate the vehicle electrics /electronics product, engineering and process changes using Volkswagen group systems to ensure all change points are considered.
- Coordinate and participate in local and group operation team meetings to highlight, escalate and manage tasks/deliverables of vehicle electrics/electronics change points to ensure no delays or critical job stoppers during the implementation phase impacting legal, compliance and buildability of vehicle.
- Support by sourcing relevant technical product information to assist with the implementation of new technologies, process optimizations or interim reworks via development/engineering department to prevent line stoppages, process and product non-conformance.
- Liaise with overseas/group counterparts with regards to buildability, process standards, training, product and quality topics/issues through meetings/business trips to ensure all data/documents/concepts is understood/obtained
Qualification requirements
Diploma or higher in electrical engineering (excluding heavy current) or mechatronics
Experience needed
- Minimum of 3 year experience in managing various projects consisting of timing plans, costing, scoping and coordinating activities/team members.
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in vehicle manufacturing or related field with key focus being vehicle electrics/electronics
Essentials
- Ability to apply problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root cause problems.
- Ability to work autonomously (self-starter), be self-motivated and target/goal orientated
- Ability and willingness to contribute innovative solutions and ideas.
- Ability to assert, coordinate and work collaboratively within and outside pilot hall team structure.
- Able to work well under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and MS Teams
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate coaching / training on various levels.

- Knowledgeable on the vehicle electric / electronic systems (brakes, airbag, lights etc.)
- intermediate understanding of German Language.

Brief Role Description
As part of the NSO Controlling team, the Financial Analyst role is responsible for effective planning, co-ordination, analysis and interpretation of strategic and financial inputs received from the Brands within the National Sales Organisation (NSO). It supports the achievement of local and international reporting deadlines and NSO Finance Controlling objectives.
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Perform financial feasibility studies for all potential locally manufactured vehicles and FBU imports
- Ensure new products are accurately priced and support to secure approval of pricing following agreed international & local processes
- Monitoring the accuracy and interpreting equipment adjusted vehicle price indices
- Prepare product cost information for incorporation in the corporate budgets and medium-term planning
- Keep record of the Business Model, ensuring Headquarters (HQ) system is timeously and accurately updated
- Evaluate cost accuracy on an ongoing basis (forecast vs actual) and implement corrective action steps
- Establishment/implementation of Vehicle and Option pricing and the effect on turnover/profitability
- Evaluation/implementation of special package/options pricing (ad hoc)
- Evaluation/implementation of ad hoc Rental & Government pricing requests
- Dealer/Rental/Government incentives evaluation, reporting and reconciliations
- Monitoring of Inflationary Price movements
- Preparation of Tenders (RT57) and quarterly RT57 pricing
- Preparation of Rental Company Proposals and submission of pricing (RT57/Rental/Ad hoc & Incentives)
- Preparation of Vorlagen for Quarterly Pricing meetings and Rental & State Tender Pricing meetings
- Manage the incentive budget/actuals relating to dealer performance and tactical programs
- Manage the provisions for vehicle related incentives, overheads, and fixed costs
Qualification requirements
- A formal 3-year National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management / Accounting / equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
- A post-graduate qualification / Honours degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Management would be advantageous
Experience needed
Minimum of 3 – 5 Years financial experience in motor or related industry

- Sound Business Acumen and understanding of financial principles
- Must be proficiency with comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytically minded with the ability and inclination to work accurately with financial detail.

Brief Role Description
To plan, facilitate and assist with the implementation of a Service Programme Development strategy aligned to the VW Group Service and franchise standards that leads to increased customer satisfaction and retention, increased service market share, increased Parts and Accessories turnover and Dealer workshop profitability
Possible Tasks within this Role
- Maintaining VW Alert roadside assistance programme for VW brand (handle queries, update training material, update booklets, conduct benchmarking)
- Ordering, distributing and tracking Alert vehicles after decal fitment,
- Analysing generated reports, address non-contactable dealers, review VWAG requirements and participate in Tow-in Service Provider operational meetings.
- Co-ordinating and monitoring dealer Alert vehicle floor plan arrangements
- Publishing and managing Roadside Assistance Dealer Service Level Agreement.
- Managing video Service Phantom testing (Mystery Shopping) for all brands.
- Handling all customer queries that may arise from the usage of the vehicles during the Phantom Test (Mystery Shopping).
- Compiling Phantom test (Mystery Shopping) samples on MasterLis.com (Phantom test administration system)
- Ensuring testing is in line with VWAG requirements and act as South African Market Co-Ordinator.
- Investigating, piloting, implementing and maintaining new service programmes/concepts within dealer network for all brands.
- Maintaining service and co-ordinate Retail Standards Audit for all brands.
- Backing office support to all Technical Field Force (TFF) and Regional After Sales Managers
Qualification requirements
National Diploma / Degree in any relevant Engineering field/ Marketing/ Business Management or IT / Computer Science
Experience needed
Minimum 3 years After Sales experience/ Data Analytics/ System Development
Essentials
- Must be familiar with Dealer After-Sales operating procedures and Dealer Business Management
- Must have good presentation skills
- Must be a self-starter and be capable of working independently
- Must have proven problem-solving skills
- Be able to work under pressure and meet set deadlines
