Celebrated actress Lorraine Moropa is making headlines after she confirmed her engagement to award-winning singer Tyler ICU.

News of their engagement has since set social media abuzz, with fans and fellow celebrities flooding their feeds with congratulatory messages.

ACTRESS LORRAINE MOROPA AND TYLER ICU ARE ENGAGED

The Lithapo actress confirmed the engagement with a TikTok video shared on Friday, 10 January. The video was seemingly taken in Zanzibar, where the two are living it up.

Surprisingly the engagement comes barely after Tyler ICU’s birthday. A few days ago, Lorraine Moropa penned a sweet birthday message to her fiancé.

After all, Lorraine Moropa made it known that the two were engaged to be married. She also flaunted her engagement ring in the now-viral video.

She captioned the now-viral video, “I said YES to a FOREVER with my best friend.” Against the post, fans and fellow celebrities were quick to flood her comment section with congratulatory messages.

Despite keeping their private lives under wraps, the two have been sharing their love life online.

Last year, on Boxing Day, Lorraine Moropa took to Instagram to reveal that she had spent Christmas with Tyler ICU’s family. She captioned the post, “Merry Christmas from the Baloyi and Moropa family.”

GOING PUBLIC

The two made headlines last year when they went public with their relationship. Tyler ICU and Lorraine Moropa confirmed their relationship on Instagram on Saturday, 19 July 2024.

Moropa shared photos of herself and Baloyi on social media and captioned them: “Till the wheels fall off.” However, against the post, @sean_nkuna asked Tyler: “So are we sending cows or?”

The Mnike hitmaker was quick to reply: “We sending cows.” At the time, Baloyi and Moropa were currently on a baecation in Bali, Indonesia.

RUMOURED RELATIONSHIPS

Rumour mill has it that Lorraine Moropa once dated former Mamelodi Sundowns stars Thembinkosi Lorch and Cassius Mailula before Tyler ICU.

However, the damning rumours haven’t been addressed in recent years despite often thrusting the stars into top trends.

Rumours of Moropa and Mailula dating began when she flirted with him on her Instagram on her birthday in 2023.

“With another candle added to my cake this year. I can only be indebted to God for the precious gift of life. Thank you to my best friend @monicakobo, My Lula and everyone who went out of their way to make this day very special for me. Happy birthday to me,” she said.

The talented footballer replied, “Happy Birthday, my love. May God bless you with everything your heart desires to achieve.”
