IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS

A. Yellow Level 2 Warning: Disruptive Rain leading to localised flooding of settlements and low lying bridges is expected over the southern KwaZulu-Natal, as well as it’s coast and adjacent interior.

B. Yellow Level 2 Warning: Severe thunderstorms with heavy downpours, damaging winds and severe lightning expected over the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

C. Yellow Level 1 Warning: Damaging winds and waves resulting in difficulty in navigation, small vessels taking on water and vessels dragging anchor is possible between Oyster Bay and Port Edward.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS

Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Northern Cape except over the John Taolo Gaetsewe District Municipality, West Coast interior, including in places over the Cape Winelands and Central Karoo .

A. Extremely hot conditions are expected over the interior of Namakwa district (N. Cape), interior of the West Coast district (W. Cape), including the Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo (W.Cape).

B. Extremely uncomfortable conditions are expected over the interior of Namakwa district in the Northern Cape, interior of the West Coast district in the Western Cape, City of Cape Town, Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo.
