IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms leading to localised flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying areas and bridges as well as large amounts of small hail over an open area are expected over the western parts of North-West, north-eastern parts of Northern Cape and over the north-western parts of Free State.
B. Yellow level 1 warning: Damaging winds leading to difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Cape Columbine and Hermanus.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the western and southern parts of Northern Cape, the north-western parts of the Eastern Cape as well as the western and northern parts of the Western Cape.
ADVISORIES
Extremely hot and uncomfortable conditions are expected over the West Coast, Cape Winelands, Central and Little Karoo districts (of the Western Cape), the Kamiesberg municipality (Northern Cape), as well as the western parts of the Eastern Cape.
