Purpose of the Job
The primary purpose of this position is to schedule and coordinate all blood clinics for the Cape Town Metropole to ensure blood collection targets are achieved.
The role involves forecasting, planning, and rescheduling clinics as needed and ensuring effective communication with relevant stakeholders to maintain and improve blood stock levels.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Office Management Certificate or relevant experience
- Unendorsed Code 8 driver’s license
- One years’ experience relating to qualification
- Intermediate/ Advanced Excel
A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required:
- Understanding of scheduling and coordinating events or clinics
- Knowledge of data compilation and statistical reporting
- Familiarity with office administrative duties and processes
- Basic understanding of Occupational Health and Safety regulations
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills
