1. Executive Director
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Board of Directors
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
The Executive Director will serve as the visionary leader of ICA, guiding the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring its operational excellence. This role is integral to strengthening ICA’s presence, securing resources, and building partnerships that amplify Indigenous voices in climate justice.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership aligned with ICA’s mission and core values
- Overseeing the development and execution of strategic plans
- Managing and mentoring staff and leadership teams
- Cultivating relationships with donors, partners, and community stakeholders
- Driving organizational growth through effective fundraising and resource management
- Representing ICA at conferences, media engagements, and public forums
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in executive leadership within non-profit or Indigenous-led organizations
- Deep understanding of Indigenous governance, culture, and community dynamics
- Proven track record in fundraising and resource development
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong commitment to Indigenous rights and climate justice

2. Campaign Manager

Salary: $68,000 – $80,000 annually
Reports To: Director of Communications and Engagement
The Campaign Manager will spearhead the development and execution of innovative campaigns that support ICA’s mission. This role aims to mobilize grassroots efforts, oppose extractive and harmful policies, and promote Indigenous-led solutions to climate issues.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing impactful campaign strategies
- Building collaborations with Indigenous leaders, community organizations, and allies
- Managing campaign logistics, including timelines, budgets, and outreach efforts
- Monitoring campaign progress and adjusting tactics as necessary
- Providing regular updates and comprehensive reports to leadership
Qualifications:
- Experience in planning and executing campaigns within Indigenous or environmental justice contexts
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Ability to foster collaboration across diverse groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deep alignment with ICA’s values and mission

Salary: $55,000 – $68,000 annually
Reports To: Managing Director/Executive Manager
The Healing Justice Coordinator will focus on integrating Indigenous healing practices into ICA’s work, fostering community resilience, and supporting trauma-informed approaches. This role seeks to expand ICA’s internal healing initiatives while developing external programs that promote collective wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing and enhancing ICA’s Healing Justice initiatives
- Collaborating with Indigenous leaders and communities to co-develop healing programs
- Building partnerships with practitioners and organizations dedicated to Indigenous healing modalities
- Facilitating gatherings, workshops, and events centered on healing practices
- Providing resources and support to communities engaged in healing work
Qualifications:
- Experience in community-based healing, preferably within Indigenous contexts
- Knowledge of trauma-informed, decolonial healing methods
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with Indigenous leaders and communities
- Demonstrated commitment to Indigenous rights and wellness
