Requirements for Working at IRC
To be considered for a job at IRC, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. social sciences, humanitarian studies, international relations)
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in a humanitarian context or related field
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to travel frequently (up to 50% of the time) to remote or insecure locations
- Fluency in English (additional languages are an asset)
- Commitment to the principles of humanitarian law and international human rights law
