Youth Development Facilitator Pebbles Project
Job Description
The Youth Development Programme Facilitator will be responsible for programme administrative duties, coordinating programme initiative events and related interventions, providing planning and administration support to the Youth Development Programme Manager.
Initiative Coordination and Implementation
● To follow up and support young adults with the mentoring and career coaching initiative.
● To follow up and support young adults with the enrolments and placements initiative.
● To refer all concerns to the Programme Manager.
● To connect with current alumni (sign-up as a beneficiary alumnus and strategize on how they
will give back to the programme and to facilitate meetings to encourage the connectedness of the
alumni).
● To assist with the induction of newly enrolled young adults.
● To attend all programme related support meetings and assist with the planning and
preparations.
● To be an ambassador for the organization and share your journey at Pebbles After-School
Clubs or Academy.
● To accompany the YDP manager at networking opportunities or relevant meetings.
Development of Administrative Systems
● To create forms and tools needed for the programme as requested.
● To take overall responsibility for the filing and record keeping, office correspondence, visitor
and phone call management, internal communication, financial management and other
administrative duties.
General Administration and Team Support
● To assist with administration and implementation of the programme in all regions.
● To assist with the printing, scanning and admin support for the YDP programme.
● To complete all ad hoc tasks as requested by Programme Coordinators and Programme
Manager.
● To keep accurate beneficiary data and update of beneficiary data to the management system.
● Performing research as requested by the Programme Manager.
● To ensure the resources at the office are neat and maintained.
● To assist with the management of Storeroom inventory.
● To perform any additional duties, as requested by your line manager or senior management.
● To assist with YDP events
Requirements:
● National Senior Certificate
● Strong administrative and coordination skills
● 2 years working experience in a support / coordinator role
● Highly organized and efficient, able to develop systems to improve
efficiency.
● Computer literate
● Ability to work flexible hours (some weekends and evenings
occasionally)
● Must have a valid driver’s license
