JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Cleaning staff may be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment. Duties can include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning offices and common areas, sanitising surfaces, emptying bins and keeping washrooms clean and well maintained.

Employees may also be required to use cleaning equipment and products safely, follow workplace health and safety procedures, and report any damaged equipment, maintenance problems or shortages of cleaning supplies to a supervisor.
