Position: Cashier

The successful candidates will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while handling transactions accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the cash register and process customer purchases.
• Receive cash, card and other approved payments.
• Issue receipts and ensure transactions are recorded correctly.
• Assist customers with queries and provide friendly service.
• Ensure the checkout area remains clean and organised.
• Check prices and product information when required.
• Handle cash responsibly and follow company procedures.
• Assist with packing products when necessary.
• Report any pricing, payment or customer-related issues to a supervisor.
• Work effectively as part of a team.

Requirements:

• Previous cashier or retail experience may be advantageous.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Basic numeracy and attention to detail.
• Must be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work in a busy environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays where required.
• Applicants should be professional and presentable.
